This interdisciplinary degree housed within the School of Business is a highly sought after professional degree by employers and will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to build a career as an actuary.

Actuarial science is a discipline that assesses financial risks in the fields of finance and insurance, using mathematical and statistical methods. Actuarial science applies the mathematics of probability and statistics to define, analyze, and solve the financial implications of uncertain future events. Actuaries measure and manage risk and have a deep understanding of mathematics, statistics, and business management. Professionals in this area help businesses grow, manage risks, and provide value to their customers. They help leaders make strategic decisions and consumers prepare for their future.
