AGSM Ambassadors Serve the Local Community

AGSM ambassadors are lauded for community service by the city of Banning

The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management student ambassadors have remained busy during the past months: The group’s volunteer service was recognized at a March 27 ceremony with the Community Partnership Award from the city of Banning, California, for their charitable work supporting the municipality’s food distribution program. Co-chief Ambassadors Amisha Sharma and Danielle Wright accepted the award on behalf of the ambassadors.

Ambassador and first-year Professional MBA student Daniela Andrade, the former mayor of Banning, received the Leadership Award at the ceremony. State Sen. Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (23rd District) also presented the ambassadors with the President’s Award for their charitable work.

Tamra Johnson, the ambassador’s advisor, received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from U.S. Rep. Raul Ruiz (CA-36); awards from California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Hewitt (5th District); and a Community Service award from the City of Banning.
