UCR Business Dean’s Advisory Board

The School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board (DAB) members are leaders from business, government and non-profit sectors who champion the school’s key strategic initiatives.

The DAB is divided into three working subgroups that align with the major initiatives of the UCR School of Business. Board leaders play an active role to secure the critical relationships and resources needed for the School of Business to execute its strategic plan.

Board Members

The Dean's Advisory Board is composed of accomplished leaders across the C-suite, entrepreneurial ventures, and the nonprofit sector. Their professional achievements, philanthropy, and strategy insight strengthen the UC Riverside School of Business by fostering vital cross-sector collaborations. By bridging the gap between industry and academia, they attract continued engagement and support from alumni and the broader business community.

Ching Liu

Ching Liu is CEO and co-founder of Inland Empire Renewable Energy Regional Center, Inc. and co-founder of SolarMax Technology. She serves on the UCR Foundation Board of Trustees, chair for the School of Business Dean's Advisory Board, chair of CE-CERT's Board of Advisors, and is a passionate advocate for education and student success.

Chris Bagley

Chris Bagley is president & CEO of REW, Inc., a Riverside based commercial construction and manufacturing firm specializing in custom millwork, cabinetry, doors, and architectural woodwork serving California and Nevada. He is a husband and a father of three grown children and a proud grandfather to Mila.

Beverly Bailey

Jamie Fang ’90

Jamie Fang is CFO of Orchids.com and a UC Riverside Alumna with over 40 years of experience in e-commerce and orchid design. A former Taiwan government translator, she co-founded PhalFanatics to support horticultural education and remains active in real estate, investing, and board leadership.

A 1982 UCR political science graduate, Greg brings decades of hands-on leadership and global business experience to the Dean's Advisory Board.

Michael Xu is founder and CEO of Micron Wireless Inc., a leading AI-enabled IoT and connected health company. Since founding Micron in 2006, he has scaled the platform globally, shipping over 25 million devices. He also serves as founder and chairman of JP Capital, a technology-focused private equity firm.

Brian Zhao

Brian Zhao is CEO of J&C International Group, bringing extensive experience in EB‑5 investment immigration. As a leading immigration consultant from China, he has overseen major cross‑border investment and financing initiatives, guiding strategic growth and client relations in complex international investment landscapes.

Alfredo Andrade is chief human resources officer at Perris Union High School District, bringing extensive HR leadership across public and private sectors. He holds an MBA from the University of California, Riverside, and has previously supported talent and organizational strategy at companies such as Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Alec Harold is a UC Riverside business alumnus and management consultant at Bain & Company. He began his career in finance at Wells Fargo before earning his MBA from MIT. Passionate about supporting UC Riverside business students, Alec remains actively engaged in alumni mentorship and advisory initiatives.

Aaron Saltzman ’21

Aaron Saltzman has built a 20-year marketing career around commercialization and innovation. He is currently the chief marketing officer of DK Global, Inc. Previously, Aaron was a founder of location-based e-commerce startup Slingr, Inc. He has also worked in consumer insights, healthcare, politics, and with multiple Temecula wineries. Aaron is a proud MBA graduate, class of 2021.
